About
I’m a father, husband, son, brother, naturalist, artist, technologist, athlete, and adventurer.
I’ve always loved the intersection of art and technology, but I took a squiggly line to photography. After graduating from UCSD with a Computing in the Arts degree I spent 20 years writing software while dabbling with photography. A few years ago I decided to pursue it full time. San Diego City College has been my training ground. I’ve studied composition, lighting, portraiture, editing, business and graphic design.
The camera enables us to jump through space and time. It can transport you across the world or visit the past. It validates events and relationships through documentation. It assures the moment can be revisited and creates a vision of what the future could hold. But that time machine only works in one direction, so capture those moments now.
