I’m a San Diego based Event and Portrait photographer specializing in festivals, fundraisers, and community events.

When photographing an event I like to become part of the experience. I get to know who’s hosting and attending while documenting both. Why are they there and what are they excited about? I mix posed and candid shots as well as detail and wider contextual photographs. I enjoy the social, technical, and artistic challenge of capturing the joy and humor of the event. I prepare by pre-visualizing angles and lighting, then show up early and maximize my event coverage. This enables me to consistently deliver quality.
